Nosferatu is one of the most iconic silent films and its popularity shows no sign of fading. It had been many years since I last saw ‘Nosferatu’ (too long for me to remember much of it) - so I bought this promising-looking ‘Masters of Cinema’ edition as it came with a bonus disc, as well as an 80 page illustrated booklet. Backed by an orchestral performance of Hans Erdmann's 1922 score, this edition offers unprecedented visual clarity and historical faithfulness to the original release version.
